UNAIDS produces a series of reports on HIV/AIDS related information. There's a possibility to search by topic, country/region or organization.

Of special interest are the Epidemiological Fact Sheets on HIV/AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Infections.

   
 WHO - The World Health Organisation
   
 

Within the frame of the 3 by 5 initiative (treat three million people living with AIDS by 2005), the WHO offers comprehensive HIV/AIDS information and country health indicators on 50 countries. Update of March 2006: Progress on Global Access to HIV Antiretroviral Therapy. A Report on 3 by 5 and Beyond.
Also of interest is a map of the estimated percentage of people covered among those in need of antiretroviral therapy (situation as of June 2005). And a map of the ARV situation in countries with the highest unmet need of June 2005.

   
 

The Drug Regulatory Status Database of the WHO provides an overview of all HIV/AIDS medicines registered in the concerned countries.
Appearing on the list does NOT mean that the drug is available, and even less that it is affordable. On the other hand, not being on this list means that, as a rule, the drug is simply not available.

  Next to this the AIDS Medicines and Diagnostics Service (AMDS) of the WHO also offers country-focused reports.

The Global Fund offers country specific information on Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria. On the left hand a country can be chosen under "all funded programs". This leads you to a country specific page that deals with the three mentioned diseases.

ITCP - International Treatment Preparedness Coalition
   
 

ITCP has produced a new Missing the Target report, the fourth in a series. It provides a 17-country overview of AIDS treatment successes and setbacks and offers an in-depth review of treatment delivery in six countries not covered in the group’s previous reports – Cambodia, China, Malawi, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
