How can I put the key health indicators in perspective?
We refer you to our document " How to put some key health indicators in perspective?"

Can you provide information on countries not listed in your drop down menu?
For the moment, this site only provides detailed information on countries in which MSF-Belgium is present. The Belgian projects of MSF is at the initiative of this website.  It is not their intention to have it under their management but, on the contrary, they actively seek a project developer, which will namely have to create a network of information suppliers. Meanwhile, the main focus is on basic healthcare and treatment of HIV/AIDS in countries in which MSF-Belgium has projects.
Should you be looking for information about other countries, we recommend you take a look at our links section, which offers access to information on country health profiles, HIV/AIDS and other pathologies of other countries. In this section you can also find contact details of other organisations which may help you further with your request.
It could also be of interest to you to read our non-country specific information.

Can you provide information on pathologies other than HIV/AIDS?
This site does not provide detailed information on pathologies other than HIV/AIDS.
However, some interesting documents can be accessed through our links section "other pathologies".
At the same time, the information provided on basic healthcare may be of interest to you whatever the type of pathology you are researching. When the evidence shows that even basic healthcare is lacking in the country of origin, one cannot expect other specialised medical care to be available or accessible.

How can you prove that your requisite care is or is not available or accessible in your country of origin?
Medimmigrant created documents in English, French and Dutch on how to prove that your requisite care is or is not available or accessible in your country of origin.

Which forms should I fill in to apply for a prolongation or authorization of stay for medical reasons?
The Department of Federal Immigration of Belgium requires a standard medical form (NL-FR) to be filled in during your application. Next to this, it could be important to attach a detailed medical report (NL-FR). More information can be obtained on the website of Medimmigrant.

What role can MSF play in my application for a prolongation or authorization of stay for medical reasons in Belgium?
Read our pdf on Health and Permit of Stay (only in French and Dutch)
